Lisa graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. Lisa received her law degree from Fordham Law School in New York, where she was an editor of the Fordham Urban Law Journal. Lisa completed an internship at the United States Department of Justice, Civil Division, in Washington, DC. She also interned at the New York City Law Department. More recently, Lisa completed a fellowship program in Leadership Education in Neuro Developmental and Related Disabilities at the Westchester Institute for Human Development at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY.

After graduating law school, Lisa worked for a major NYC law firm, but realized that her calling was helping the injured and disadvantaged. In addition to working on personal injury cases, Lisa has devoted herself to providing guidance, support and representation to parents trying to secure a proper educational program for their children with special needs. Lisa also spends time at the Westchester Independent Living Center in White Plains, NY where she assists students and their families with planning and implementing a transition plan, utilizing a person-centered approach, focusing on a student’s current educational program, as well as planning for a successful post-secondary life.
